Study On The Relationship Between Social Responsibility And Financial Performance Of Real Estate Enterprise In China

After the reformation of economy system in our country, real estate industry havecome into a new era and become an important backbone of China’s economy nowadays.The booming of real estate industry are indeed stimulating inner demand at someextent, quickening our modernization and economy development. In the process,however, some social problem are also coming up. Especially the excess investment inreal estate make the increase of investment and consumption out of joint, house’ priceare far higher than the income of common people. What’s more, many awful thingshappen frequently, such as jerry-built project, injury in work, environment pollution,wages default, etc. This behavior of pursuing personal interest without consideringpublic interest have brought bad influence into our society.With the popularization of society harmony, corporation as a member of societyare obligated to balance the development between society and corporation. Merelyachieving the maximum profit are not adapted to temporary development model. Underthe background, corporate social responsibility is gradually attracting the attention ofshareholder, official, scholar in every country. This study is going to probe into therelationship between the social responsibility and financial performance in the visualangle of real estate enterprise.In this paper, two methods of normative research and empirical research are bothadopted. The process of corporation social responsibility theory’ development areproduced, and the relationship between corporation social responsibility and financialperformance are analyzed based on in theory perspective.And then tells of the status ofour real estate industry and its action on the social responsibility.The last part is tovalidate the relationship between corporation social responsibility and financialperformance with the financing data originating from those real estate enterprise whohave come into market.
