Evaluating Research Of Chinese Automobile Enterprise Research And Development Ability

With the development of Chinese complete automobile enterprises, Chinese vehicle research and development has got rid of the era which it relied on the introduction of foreign products to survive, which has entered a new period of development. China’s automobile industry has been quietly beyond" the introduction, backward, re-introduction, and then backward "stage of development, initially established a system of independent research and development, in addition to high-end car products. Except the middle-high car products, independent research and development vehicle basically meet the domestic market needs, and a small amount of car products have been exports. The whole industry in general has got rid of the product development model relying on mimicking and introducing technology. Of course, there are some inadequacies in the R&D capabilities to be improved.Firstly, starting from the research situation, the article analyzed the overall situation of the China car companies R&D capabilities and then explores the theoretical basis of the research and development capabilities, and defined the relative concept of corporate R&D capabilities; and analyzed of the main elements of the corporate R&D from the aspect of basic R&D capabilities, the application of R&D capabilities and the development of competency to explore, and thus analyzed the relative theory including of corporate R&D the production capacity of the corporate R&D technology, R&D management capabilities, R&D capabilities of the enterprise technology the enterprise technology innovation capability, and finally from four point of view of the supplier, internal, marketing services and policy, the article had comprehensive analysis and elaboration about influencing factors of corporate R&D capabilities. In addition, the article comprehensively discussed of Chinese and foreign automobile R&D overview, characteristics analysis of R&D and R&D development trend. Based on the above research, this article determined the automobile research and development capabilities evaluation index system from R&D investment, R&D management capabilities, R&D implementation capabilities, R&D earning capabilities and the corporate culture innovation five first indexes, and carefully selected to obtain21second indicators, and then use the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of the automobile research and development capabilities,which concluded that the weight of the culture of innovation of Chinese automobile companies is relatively lower and the weight of R&D implementation capacity is relatively higher. In addition, the article analyzed SGMW automobile development course, the development status and R&D status, and use designed evaluation system and the weighted arithmetic average (WAA) model to comprehensively evaluate SGMW automobile R&D capabilities, and the appraising results of each class were analyzed, which concluded that R&D comprehensive capabilities of SGMW has been in the general level, and R&D investment capacity is relatively weak, and corporate culture of innovation has relatively high level.and the weakness and the remained parts to be improved were found out, and the promotion method of R&D ability of SGMW automobile was presented combining the theory and reality.
