The important embodiment as one country's synthesized is economic strength. As the rapid development of Chinese automobile industry, it will have more and more important position. And automobile industry will become the pillar industry of China, and it will produce enormous function and far-reaching influence on the development of Chinese economy and progress of the society. But Chinese automobile industry has a latter start, so the basis is not strong enough, and the management system is relatively backward. The tactics way of marketing is very backward, too. And because the limit of the planned economic system, some non-economy have some effects too, so our automobile industry have some inferior strengths, for examples, the positions of the factories, and the scale of the factories. These make our marketing stratagem are not suitable for the development of our automobile industry.Distribution channel is a kind of valuable capital to the enterprise. However, as to the restriction of the running environment, the enterprise should choose and design the distribution channel due to the characteristic of the product and the target of the enterprise. And for automobile manufacturing enterprise, making a good relationship with the others of the distribution channel is good not only for them to occupy the new market, but also to get the information from the customers rapidly and truly.According to analyzing the history of the development of distribution channel in China, comparing with the distribution channel in developed countries, this article wants to find out the restrictions of building the channels for Chinese enterprises, to analyze the characteristic of the different distribution channel models, and the suitable models for Chinese enterprises. Also, this article will make a research on the countermeasure of China about how to develop our distribution channels when we are in the WTO.
