Jiangxi Province, Consumer Rights And Interests Protection System Research

"Everybody is a consumer; every day is a consumer day". Protecting Consumers’ Rights is crucial to everyone. After the Consumer Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China being launched, Jiangxi Province has actively involved in protecting consumer’s right. They’ve founded the Consumer Protection Association, and have built a pattern where the commercial division, the QA division, the hygiene division, and the agricultural division all work in line to protect consumers’right through various channels including reconciliation, complaint, appeal, arbitration and prosecution.This paper analyses the current state as well as the existing problems and their causes of the consumer protection architecture in Jiangxi Province. By adopting the useful experiences and implementations of the consumer right protection architectures of other places both domestically and globally, and also by considering Jiangxi’s practical conditions, we extensively study the construction of the consumer right protection architecture in Jiangxi. Besides, we also explore methods of perfecting the consumer right protection architecture via various angles including laws, administration, jurisdiction, and social supervision.
