A Study On Financial Risk Estimation For China’s Listed Information Technology Company

In economic activities, because of some unanticipated anduncontrolled factors, economical loss in business’ actions such as raisingfunds，investing，recovering capitals，and distributing benefit may happen.Generally, this is financial risk. With the development of market economyand the gradual deepening of global integration, and the increasinglyfierce market competition, financial risk affects if the enterprise couldsurvive, develop and be profit, and the enterprise must prevent andcontrol the financial risk as soon as possible. Therefore, the use ofscientific methods to analyze the financial risk, in-depth study of thecauses of the financial risk, and propose specific solutions, for the healthydevelopment of enterprises has a very important practical application ofsignificance.Financial statements reflect the enterprises financial position,operating results and cash flow situation in certain periods. Properlyunderstand and analyze the content of financial statements can becomprehensively and accurately understand the financial risks of a business in the past, present and future.Information technology brings us new ways of production and life.The information technology industry to promote China’s economicdevelopment has made a significant contribution. In China, Listedcompanies of information technology industry are outstandingrepresentatives of the information technology industry, and take topromote rapid and sound development of China’s economic task.This paper selects92of China’s information technology industry ofthe financial statements of listed companies as a research object, take theCharacteristics of information technology industry into account,integrated use of accounting, financial management and statisticalmethods, for the past three years (2008,2009,2010) the informationtechnology industry the financial statements of listed companies toconduct a comprehensive analysis and research, summarize financial riskof the information technology industry, and on this basis, and proposesome personal insights.At first, this paper describes the current major risk analysis,evaluation and control theory and methods, and then integration ofinformation technology industry characteristics and information technology industry, refering to the last three years financial statements oflisted companies, use financial statement analysis method and modernmethods of statistical analysis of the financial risk of informationtechnology industry to conduct a comprehensive analysis, assessment andinduction. At last, establish a financial risk measurement model forinformation technology industry,propose measures from financialmanagement aspect for China’s information technology industry for theexistence of the business of financial risk.
