Optimization Research On Production System Based On MTO Model In Iron And Steel Enterprises

The intensification of market competition brings the enterprises rare opportunities andsevere challenges. As to iron and steel enterprises, the production planning system will affectthe product delivery and profit of the enterprises directly. Order planning problems are involvedin steelmaking and hot rolling, and other processes, the production technology of each processis diverse from each other, and the scale of contract order is relatively large. Therefore, it isvery important to study up on how to make innovations and improvements in every aspect ofthe production process, which can help to shorten the delivery cycle, reduce operational costs,and improve customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the study has great theoretical and practicalsignificance on improving the enterprises’ ability to deal with the rapidly changing of marketand the increasing profit of enterprise.This thesis is mainly based on make-to-order production management to optimizationresearch about the contract delivery on time, minimize group furnace material rate,maximization hot delivery and hot charging ratio, and equilibrium process capability in iron andsteel enterprises. An inventory matching model was established for the inventory matchingproblem of integrated production management，and a capability planning model whichconsidered the constraints of working procedure in steel production processes and theconstraints of equipment capacity was established for the capability matching problem ofintegrated production management．In order to solve the problem of steelmaking-continuous casting-hot rolling（SM-CC-HR）integrated production planning, this thesis decomposes the optimization problem of integratedproduction planning into five local optimization problems. And the integrated productionplanning is produced by the five local optimization systems with the mode of multi-systemscooperation, ensuring each process on the efficient logistics operation and effective connectivity,maximizing productivity and enhances hot delivery and charging ratio, guiding the practicalproduction optimization operation.
