| Economic globalization and China’s rapid economic development has ledto a large number of engineering and construction companies to go abroad, tocontractingint ernational engineering projects.Compared with domestic projects,International projects contracting will face a more complex international political,economic, social environment, so the project management will face manyproblems. Complex environment will bring more risk to the successful completion ofthe project objectives. Project risk management is particularly importantin the international project.The international project risk management theory get moreand more concern and attention of scholars.In order to make the international project contractors to better apply the riskmanagement theory, this paper studies how to view project risk management theory ininternational highway construction and rational use of technology andmethod,Standing in the view of the contractors, and then make the project riskmanagement more effective.Through the establishment of the theoreticalframework of international project management, the paper analysis the project riskmanagement process, elaborate risk analysis,risk assessment,risk response,risk controland methods of the various stages involved in the risk identification. Contractingprojects in the highway around the city of Rabat, Morocco as a case, the paperuses brain storming, the Delphi method, as well as the interviews method toidentify the risk of the project, get reasonable classification of project risk, and thenuse expert scoring method and AHP project risk assessment, the paper proposed riskresponse strategy and implementation plan for the project in accordance with riskassessment results.Through a combination of theoretical research and case studies, this paper willgive a revelation of risk management theory in the international highway project inorder to provide some theoretical guidance and realistic reference for the actual project risk management. |
