It differs a lot from urban to rural, which is specific significant inmidwestern China. Rural economy develops backward with weak basis. It alsolacks endogenous growth ability and influence from external radiation. As a linkbetween rural and urban, on the one hand,county economy can undertake industrialtransfer in the process of adjusting the industrial structure in big cities and acceptradiation drive from urban agglomeration. On the other hand, it links widely closelywith the vast rural regions, which enable county to absorb a lot of agriculturalsurplus labor, concentrate all kinds of producing factors existing in rural areas,andthen form regional growth pole. And the rural urbanization is an importantcomponent of the development of county economy, which is of strategicsignificance for county economy.This paper discusses the background of topic selection and the presentsituation. On the basis of the above, it makes theory analysis of rural urbanization,study the basic concept, essential characteristic and main development mode ofrural urbanization. It also studies the role that rural urbanization acts in countyeconomy.
