With the gradual execution of the reform and opening-up policy in China, the ownership structure develop continuously from "unitary" to "pluralistic" and become an important factor affecting industrial development. The transformation of ownership structure can make the ownership theory of our country keep pace with the times and further promote industrial development. Therefore, the study of the relationship between the ownership structure and industrial performance can be used to adjust the ownership structure constantly to adapt to the development of the productive forces and production relations, and thus point the way to accelerate industrial development.In this paper, the influence of the ownership structure transformation on the industrial productivity and industrial profitability was studied by econometric analysis method. Firstly, the public economy including state-owned enterprises and collective enterprises have a significant negative impact on the industrial productivity and industrial profitability, while non-public ownership economy play a significant role in promoting industrial productivity and industrial profitability, such as foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises; Secondly, on different levels of asset-liability ratio, the influence extent of ownership structure on industrial productivity is obviously different; Finally, when the role of the ownership structure was studied according to capital intensity, it was found that even in the high capital intensive industry dominant by state-owned enterprises, compared with state-owned enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises still make a higher contribution on the industrial profitability, which demonstrated the advantages of foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises again.
