SHZ Ltd. Co, the wholly owned subsidiary of China United Telecommunications Corporation (China Unicom for short), mainly undertakes the saling and serving parts of3G mobile terminals for China Unicom, expanding the mobile industrial value chain. It supports the development of3G mobile businesses for China Unicom by offering mobile phones. SHZ, which plays the role of agent in the mobile industrial value chain all over the country, promotes the mobile circulation through group purchase and exclusive selling the appointed mobiles from different brands’ mobile terminal manufactures, meanwhile through selling from large-scale retails and owned retail stores. The products are mostly the mobile intelligent terminals of WCDMA. SH, the subsidiary of SHZ in Shanghai, is responsible for the distribution and retailing work of appointed mobiles in Shanghai.The rapid development of mobile telecommunication technology brings the product upgrading, infusing powerful energy to the traditional mobile terminal market, which suffers from the keen price competition day after day, the gradually slowing down of new market, the continually increasing market saturation. How to response to market demand and catch the new market opportunity under the background of that the whole mobile telecommunication field have had being developing the3G business, it inevitably becomes the problem that many competitors in this field concern.SH, market-based and undertaking sale target, faced the same market with other competitors. To become invincible, it’s quite necessary to study and apply the marketing strategy. However, as SH has to sell the appointed products of appointed prices from SHZ, it need focus more on the construction, expand and maintain of marketing channels. Meanwhile, with the development of3G business, mobile intelligent terminals are the key products of SH recently. Based of these reasons, this essay will mainly illustrate the research of SH mobile intelligent terminal marketing channel under the present situation.
