But also because the system technology has reached a considerable height, so it is difficult to get breakthrough progress, so now the enterprise gradually to increase vehicle strategy, in order to ahead of other enterprises.China automotive industry started relatively late, formal development in "one five plan", after the reform and opening up, draw lessons from western developed countries advanced technology, from imitation to innovation, makes Chinese auto industry to achieve a breakthrough development. In the production and consumption, China has now is car production, consumption, only2010, countrywide car total consumption had exceeded18000000, occupy first place in the world; in the manufacturing scale, China is working hard to become the "four big and four small" situation, namely to encourage the FAW, Changan, east wind, steam and other large enterprises in a nationwide mergers, supporting Beiqi, GAC, heavy truck, Chery and other car companies in the region to implement mergers and acquisitions.Compared with other countries, these data and text description, enough to make us feel pleased and proud, if the development of Chinese automobile industry advantage, history and current situation of competition of international car made after careful study, will easily find these achievements is hiding tremendous hidden trouble. First, the low cost production, has been the one of the biggest advantage of Chinese automobile enterprises, and after2000, steel and labor prices slow promotion, this advantage has been slowly disappearing; secondly, because of the production mode and low profit rate, Chinese automobile enterprises on production technology investment has been less than Europe and the United States and Japan automobile power, this will pull further big technology gap between us. This article from the automobile enterprise development strategy point of view, the combination of internal and external business environment and characteristics, analysis, explore a variety of development strategy on business performance impact, the preliminary draw three conclusions:First, through market research and literature study, automobile enterprise development strategy basically divided into two types:development strategy and stable strategy. Enterprises to enter the market or the market due to some reason to increase capacity, this to enterprise, since good luck, it is a challenge, in the face of such a situation, the vast majority of enterprises decision makers can choose development strategies, in an attempt to expand market share, improve business visibility, enhance enterprise competitiveness in the market, when the market is saturated, enterprise decision makers will choose stable strategy, digestion and absorption of new gain market share, the consolidation of the existing market status.Second, taking38listed automobile companies as the research samples, for these enterprises in accordance with the criteria for judging qualitative coding, using content analysis method, through empirical analysis found that the current automobile enterprises, mainly takes the diversification of development strategies, to car market, with develop the real estate market, construction market, new energy markets, but in recent years, the steel prices rising, enterprises take the diversified development strategy at the same time, also can choose the longitudinal development strategy, enter the iron and steel industry; although the Chinese automobile enterprises are numerous, but capable of producing vehicle enterprises accounted for the proportion is very low. even to vehicle production enterprises, their production and world500strong auto giants compared with, is not worth mentioning, but in the face of such a predicament, the country has issued a series of policy, encourage car enterprises to take intensive development strategy, mutual annex, form dimensions benefit, enhance international competition ability.Third, through empirical testing, study of automobile enterprises strategy and the relationship between corporate performance, the results showed:product intensive growth strategy and market intensive growth strategy and corporate performance are positively related, suggesting that the development of new products and open up international markets to help automobile enterprises to improve profitability, and enhance market competitiveness; horizontal integration growth strategy and vertical integration strategy and business performance is positively related to growth, show that the auto companies to the upstream raw material market penetration is beneficial to reduce the production cost, the lower reaches of the sales market penetration is advantageous to increase their market share; diversification growth strategy and corporate performance are negatively correlated, show that the strategy can help enterprises to increase the overall performance.
