No doubt, the problem of food safety has become China’s harmonious society construction in the process of the major problems to be solved.At present, almost every day existing food safety problems around us, China’s food industry foundation is weak, quantity bedding face is wide, the overall quality is not high, in production management is not standardized, safe hidden trouble is much wait for a problem, especially a production operator moral anomie. lack of integrity, production and sale of fake food, to food security caused by great harm. Such problems exist in the production and distribution of various stages. are rooted in the current regulatory system, regulations and standards, inspection system is not perfect, the food safety risk monitoring, assessment, early warning of low levels of factors such as lack of regulation and law enforcement power. As the basic work of safety of food of food security system is weak, the task is formidable, effective food safety management requires a plurality of participation and cooperation.With social progress and development, our country civil organizations became active in all areas of society, and plays an important role. Folk organization as social autonomous organizations in pooling resources, professional capacity and efficiency in the organization. Have different from the government of the special social function, is the important subject in the management of food safety. As to the role of government and market in the field of a complementary form of folk organization, non-governmental, non-profit, legitimacy, autonomy and voluntary characteristic had decided it could play a more and more important and extensive role, it’s a variety of social role has become increasingly prominent. But our country civil organizations play a role and there are still some problems needs to further improve. improve the folk organization effectiveness.This article mainly from the science of administration and economics perspective on food safety management theory analysis, the folk organization and food safety management combining as the object of study, has analyzed our country folk organizations in the food safety management of important function. First, the author introduces the folk organization and food safety basic concepts, and then discusses the folk organizations in the food safety management to play a role in the theoretical basis, this kind of folk organizations in the food safety management in China, analysis of China’s non-governmental organizations in the food safety management in the role, but also shows the play a role in current situation.
