With the development of global economic integration and development of information technology, the enterprises are facing more intense competition in the market. As a new management model, Supply chain management which adapts to global manufacturing and diversification of customer needs has a wide range of applications in the enterprise. Suppliers lie in the "source" position of entire supply chain. Supplier management is the basis for the operation of supply chain partnership, Suppliers plays a vital role in business survival and development. As technology advances and global economic integration, The number of suppliers available for the enterprises is increasing, the amount of information that need to be addressed is more and more, and companies want to reach short-term cost minimization. So it is necessary to reduce the number of sources of supply in the operation of the supply chain partnership. Therefore, how to quickly and effectively and reasonably select suppliers in a large number of suppliers becomes a key issues for the modern supply chain, which is of great practical significance. In the selection of suppliers in supply chain management, most decisions are made in a fuzzy environment, or in the fuzzy system. Since making the selection of suppliers, it is necessary to consider the stability and timeliness of supply to ensure product quality and the cost of products and logistics, combined with many other influencing factors. Selection problem needs multiple indicators to comprehensive assessment instead of relying on a single criterion. At the same time, candidate providers own more than one property index with uncertainty and ambiguity, which cause difficult to clear the relationship between the results and the factors. Therefore, selecting the optimal supplier relies evaluating and sorting the alternative suppliers in the fuzzy environment.Considered indicators should reflect the information of supplier comprehensively and truly in the selection of suppliers. With the development of economic globalization, companies increasingly focus on their brand to remain competitive, reputation is the external manifestation of the brand image. Reputation is an important intangible asset of the enterprise, which is able to enhance the strength of the enterprises to make a leading position in the inter-industry competition and bring sustained and long-term interests. Good corporate reputation is not only contributed to the establishment of their own corporate culture, but also to achieve in practice low-input high-yield, the most important is to increase the partner’s confidence of provide products and services. So it is necessary to make corporate reputation as a target attribute for evaluating suppliers. The passage combines the latest theories, methods and conclusions of the supplier selection, and systematically analyzes and researches the supplier selection in supply chain management. A fuzzy multi—Attribute decision making method based on entropy is presented to deal with the optimal decision problem of vendor selection in the Supply Chain. For the fuzzy multi—attribute decision making problem, attribute set is identified, weight of each attribute is calculated in the use of information entropy, and the optimal solution is determined by using the fuzzy number sorting method to sort the fuzzy utility values of the programs. An example is applied for the rating sort of5vendors to select the most appropriate one. The method is proved to be effective in vendor selection.
