The Analyses Of The Profitability And The Impact Factors On Energy Saving And Environment Protection Listed Companies

With the sustainable and rapid development of economic in China, the problem of environmental pollution is increasingly serious, and has a serious impact on the living environment of residents in China, and has become an obstacle restricting the sustainable and healthy development of the national economy, so our government put more and more attention to the environment protection. Especially in recent years, our government has put forward the objectives of the development of circular economy and building an environmentally friendly and resource-saving society, and has increased investment in environment protection, which provide excellent opportunities for the development of energy saving and environment protection related companies. To analyze the profitability of energy saving and environment protection section of listed companies can not only promote the related companies to seize the opportunity to work hard to improve and enhance their own profitability, but also has great significance to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the national economy.Based on introducing the theory of profitability and summarizing the research results of domestic and foreign profitability, this article makes samples of energy saving and environment protection companies listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market before December31,2010, and use annual report data of listed companies in2010, then makes empirical analyses on the current profitability and its impact factors of energy saving and environment protection listed companies through factor analysis and multiple regression analysis and draws the empirical conclusion. In accordance with the impact factors of the regression model, this article also put forward policy recommendations for energy saving and environment protection listed companies combining with the actual market situation in China.This article has two innovations. First, select the energy saving and environment protection section of listed companies as samples to study their profitability. For this hot section in stock market, we can find that there is seldom research on this section during the process of consulting the domestic and foreign literature. Second, study the profitability of listed companies not only from a single section but also from different industries, which has not been found in previous studies.
