In recent years,in the transformation of China’s trade period,all majorindustries are facing a transformation, the garment industry is no exception, and itmust carry out the transformation and upgrading.After2006,with the rise of laborcosts in China and the decline of labor costs in region of Southeast Asia, India andothers. in the situation of that labor costs have been lower than our country in theseareas,in International trade, traditional labor advantage in the garment industry inChina will also will vanish,and therefore we must seek new development andoutlet.This article mainly through the investigation of the status of the internationaland Chinese garment industry in the period trade transformation, analyzing thegarment industry of China in the method of SWOT,finding out domestic andinternational factors that may affect the speed of accelerating transformation in thegarment industry of China.To draw the conclusion that in the period of tradetransformation,if Chinese garment industry wants to step over the OBM mode,itmust focus on superior brand building at the same time of product innovation andinformation management,in addition that make cultural connotation integration intobrand building,so the garment industry of China could obtain the profit in the periodtrade transformation....
