Tightening the face of resource constraints, environmental pollution, ecosystem degradation grim situation. Energy, economic, and environmental interaction and coordination of the three systems to promote the path of sustainable development in China is the reality that must prepare and forward protection. Therefore, based on China’s basic national conditions, economic growth must be green with energy development and environmental construction combine, through coordination between the three systems, and thus enhance the country’s overall effect. In this paper, the coordinated development of3E system based on the concept, the use of evaluation index system, the establishment of a more comprehensive development level3E system integrated evaluation system using principal component analysis for1996-2010energy, economic and environmental subsystems and3E integrated development system for evaluation, at the same time, the use of exploratory data analysis and Markov chain method to explore areas of the system of regional3E spatial distribution and evolution, and finally explores the spatial difference of regional3E impact of changes in the system development, and according to the system of regional spatial distribution3E propose targeted policy recommendations. This conclusion is as follows:(1) The past15years, China’s energy, economic and environmental development of standards to improve the system, but the differences are significant regional distribution. South coast, east coast, the southwest region3E system development level is higher, but the northern and northeastern regions of coastal low level of development, these two sets of data are quite different, but no significant difference between the groups. A higher level of economic development in coastal areas, to a certain extent, ignored the environmental development. From the state of development of each subsystem, the level of development of China’s energy system fluctuates around the mean, stabilized. Meanwhile, China’s economic development level systems and environmental systems overall upward trend.(2) China Comprehensive Development Area3E system level changes in1996-2010there is a certain degree of convergence. Relatively low level of regional convergence significantly, while the low-and high-level regional convergence in general, at the same time, this type of ongoing upgrading and development of the two regions.(3) Regional3E system development level of China’s long-term trends to some extent affected by the type of neighborhood, in the long run. the observation area neighborhood type is the high level, the greatest potential for the development of regional upgrades.(4) In recent years, the eastern coast of the northern region dropped by the impact of a slight decline; southern coast and eastern areas of convergence phenomenon significantly; northern coast and northeastern area development bottlenecks encountered, and the region as a low-level convergence significantly affected by the neighborhood than weak; upgrading and development of the Yellow River region has great potential as a high level; Yangtze River affected by the positive impact of the ongoing upgrading development of Yellow River and southwest regions; northwestern and southwestern regions were affected by the Yellow River and southern regions are expected to upgrade to the positive impact of higher level zones.
