Since the financial crisis, economic globalization and theinternational division of labor in the deepening, and closer ties betweenthe countries. International economic changes will affect a country’seconomy; one of the anti-changes of the country’s economy will bringabout changes in the international economy. With the division of laborfrom the industry, the division of labor within the industry toward theevolution of division of labor within the product, the production of acommodity involves the production of different types of enterprisesscattered in all corners of the world to produce different segments,making the whole global manufacturers formed a chain-productionmodel, which is the generation of the global value chain.China, as a populous country, has very rich labor resources. In orderto conform to the needs of the times and the strengthening of China’scomprehensive national strength, with the deepening of the worldeconomic exchanges, China’s manufacturing industry is more and moreadded to the global value chain production. Decades of reform andopening up the results achieved are significant, China’s manufacturingoutput has ranked first in the world, we can buy products made in Chinaall over the world, and China has been a household name of the "worldfactory".However, behind made a lot of achievements, we should clearlyfound that the total amount of China’s manufacturing industry is to relyon high energy consumption, high pollution and low income generated. Inthe global value chain, mainly rely on the processing of low value-addedproducts in the low end of the value chain production, the coretechnology and channels are always grasp in the hands of large foreigncompany. So, China is not the true sense of the manufacturing power, only by constantly upgrading its industries can make our industry trulybigger and stronger, and it will truly become "the world’s manufacturingcenter.From two aspects of the theory and practice, discusses the upgradedmodel of China’s manufacturing industry in the global value chainperspective, significant factors on statistical analysis of the manufacturingsector influencing factors affecting the manufacturing upgrade, and thenput forward China’s manufacturing industry needed to upgrade path,combined with existing national conditions of different industries needdifferent upgrade, provide effective recommendations to upgrade ofChina’s manufacturing industry.Chapter1Introduction.
