The private hospital is an important part of China’s medical and health system, privatehospital can ease the difficulty of people to receive medical treatment, so that patients have theright to freely choose hospital and doctor, which brings market competition, and has a certainrole in promoting the activation of the medical market, improve medical services quality, reducethe price of medical services, improve service attitude. Since they cannot get governmentfunding or policy supports like state-owned hospitals, private hospitals have to seek survival anddevelopment in the market competition, and employees engagement is a key factor to affect theperformance of private hospitals. A large number of studies have shown that enhancingemployee’s engagement can improve business performance. Based on this, the thesis conductsresearch on employee’s engagement of private hospitalsThe private hospitals have the following features: private hospitals can alleviate thedifficulty of expensive medical treatment problem to some extent; private hospitals are mainlyset up with social contribution, so it is possible to reduce the fiscal burden on government;private hospitals can meet people’s multi-level and diversified demands for medical services;private hospitals have the role of promoting the good development of the health services market.Private hospitals have the following characteristics: flexible mode of financing and managementmechanisms; strong market awareness, distinctive specialist features; people-oriented, providingquality service.Surveys found that employees’ engagement level of private hospitals at this stage reachesthe middle level, therefore it can be considered that hospital staff have better employment level.Through the analysis of factors affecting the engagement degree, it is found that employee’sgender, age, marital status, work experience, job title level, education and other aspects have animpact on employee engagement to varying degrees, the job itself, salary and benefits, personalgrowth and career development, organization and management system, leadership andmanagement level, team writing and other organizational factors have a significant impact onemployees’ engagement, social and environmental factors also significantly affect employees’engagement.According to the analysis of factors influencing employee’s engagement, this thesisproposed ideas and suggestions to improve engagement of employees in private hospital fromthe three aspects: individual employees, hospital organization, social environment: in the socialcontext: first, strengthen the propaganda and effectiveness of cherishing posts and devotingwholeheartedly to work; second, give full play to the exemplary role. Third, implement the strict regulatory regime, conduct good policy guidance; in the hospital organization: First, strive tocreate a good corporate culture. Second, strive to improve the management level. Third,reasonably allocate posts. Fourth, provide training opportunities to improve their work skills.Fifth, improve the salary and benefits system. Sixth, provide reasonable career planning foremployees. For individual employees: First, to strengthen the personal cultivation, improveprofessionalism. Second, adjust self-attitude, enhance sense of responsibility.
