The Study Of Innovation Modes Of Small Business From The Perspective Of Evolutionary Economics

It is acknowledged that innovation is of critical importance to the performance and long-term development of firm, in the surroundings of highly uncertain and dynamic particularly, existing products and services of firm cannot be relied on indefinitely. In the setting of globalization and considerably advancing technology, innovation is ever increasingly importance for firms and countries. After China’s reform and open to the outside world, Chinese economy have been experiencing the process of continuous and highly rate development, Chinese more and more recognized the significance of innovation to the enhancing of comprehensive national strength and sustainable development of economy. At present, there are lots of challenges and difficulties in the constructing continued competence of small business in China, one of them is how to innovation in small business. After the analysis of the differences and similarities between evolutionary economics and mainstreaming neoclassical economics on the theory of firm’s innovation, this thesis concluded that the explanation of evolutionary economics on the issue of innovation is in accordance with the objective states more accurately. For a better understanding the firm’s innovation related problems, so as to guiding the behavior of innovation that firms as the main part, this thesis hence studied the selective problems of modes of innovation in firms in the perspective of evolutionary economics.On the basis of existing researches, this thesis analyzed the selective problems of modes of innovation in small businesses in the perspective of evolutionary economics, this thesis including several parts as follows. Firstly, at the basis of the analysis of China’s economic environment at home and abroad, this thesis put emphasis on the significance of innovation in the transition and sustainable development of China’s economy. And then, this thesis analyzed the importance of small business to the economy and society, and the necessity of innovation in small business. In the third part, this thesis illustrated the related theory of evolutionary economics and the differences between the evolutionary economics and mainstreaming economics. In the forth part, this thesis presented related theory of innovation in firms of evolutionary economics, ranging from the motivation, the process to the evolution of innovation in firms. In the fifth part, this thesis stretched the related theory of evolutionary economics, with the aim of analyzing the selective problems of modes of innovation in small business. In the last part, related theories of evolutionary economics were applied to explain the selective problems of modes of innovation in case firm.
