Research On Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of The Price Fluctuation Of Soybean In Heilongjiang Province

Soybean, native to China, is important oil crops and the plant proteins resources. China onceis the biggest country of soybean production and export in the world. With the development of thedomestic economy, soybean demand in China constantly increases. Besides, owning to theadjudgment of crops layout in China, soybean yield has not meet the demand so that importedsoybean fill the supply-demand gap. As a mayor agricultural province in China, HeilongjiangProvince where the quantity of grain commodity and special reserve both take the first place inChina is not only the state key producing base of cereals but also the biggest province of soybeanproduction in China. Soybean yield in Heilongjiang Province accounts for1/3of that in China.Soybean produced in Heilongjiang Province has taken much attention. On one hand, it’s because ofthe stagnation of soybean production, on the other hand, it’s due to the rapid increase of importedsoybean.With the increase of soybean imports, soybean market in China has undergone greatchanges. And it’s the same to the soybean market in Heilongjiang Province which is one of themayor soybean producing areas in China. A flood of imports o f transgenic soybean dispute theoriginal supply and demand balance, which directly leads to the soybean price fluctuation inHeilongjiang Province so that it causes the great impact on the development of soybean industry inHeilongjiang Province. Against this background, it possesses both practical significance andtheoretical significance to study deeply and systematically the influencing factors of soybean pricefluctuation in Heilongjiang Province. Since2004, our country has introduced many benefitfarming policies which have brought many benefits to farmers and stabilize objectively thesoybean production.Because the comparative advantage of soybean has significant influence onfarmer’s planting behaviors, the low comparative advantage and high price fluctuation haveseriously affected the producer’s choice of soybean planting. Besides, weak competitiveness,increasing conflict of supply and demand, low yield efficiency, low technology in planting, lowtechnical efficiency and the impact of the international soybean market, all of these directly lead toraising conflict of supply and demand of soybean in Heilongjiang Province, and finally cause thesoybean price fluctuation.According to the development of soybean industry and soybean price fluctuation in Heilongjiang Province, Firstly, this paper studies the influencing factors of soybean pricefluctuation in Heilongjiang Province. Based on equilibrium price theory, cobweb theory, industrialeconomics theory and supply chain theory, this paper analyzes the development of soybeanindustry thorough the analysis of the economic status of soybean industry in HeilongjiangProvince, soybean production and soybean trade. And it also analyzes the status quo of soybeanprice fluctuation and the impact through the analysis of soybean price fluctuation, thecharacteristics and the impact of soybean price fluctuation on the development of soybean industry.Then, this paper studies the influencing factors of soybean price fluctuation in HeilongjiangProvince through adopting the methods of both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis andthe combination of empirical analysis and normative analysis. After collecting a large number ofauthoritative statistical data from statistic yearbook of the whole country, Heilongjiang Province,agriculture statistics and some authoritative agricultural official website, this paper analyzesdeeply and specifically the influencing factors of soybean price fluctuation in HeilongjiangProvince. It mainly focus on the perspectives of soybean supply, soybean demand, nationalpolicies, international market and market service and analyzes specifically the influencing factorswith data and chart so that it can reveal such phenomenon. And then, based on empirical analysisand normative analysis, this paper makes a quantitative analysis of the influencing factors ofsoybean price fluctuation in Heilongjiang Province applying the multiple linear regression modelto analyze it from the perspectives of supply and demand so as to work out the correspondingconclusion. And finally, this paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures for soybeanprice fluctuation in Heilongjiang Province.
