Regional Competitiveness Evaluation Model And Empirical Analysis Research About Wenzhou City

The development of economic globalization accelerated the competition between regions, the regional competitiveness is increasingly becoming the decisive factors in regional economic gain competitive advantage. This article from the basic concept and the connotation of regional competitiveness, based on the economics foundation theory of regional competitiveness, constructs included8kinds indexes,23secondary indicators and58tertiary indicators of competitiveness evaluation index system of regional competitiveness, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to determine the index weight coefficients, based on this conclusion by TOPSIS method in11cities of Zhejiang province regional competitiveness rankings, and then by the SWOT method to analyze the Wenzhou rankings, finally discusses the measures to enhance regional competitiveness of Wenzhou.This paper firstly summarizes the research status at home and abroad, expounds the economics foundation theory of regional competitiveness, including the related theory of regional economics, comparative economics theory and competitive advantage theory; Second, constructs included8kinds indexes,23secondary indicators and58tertiary indicators of regional competitiveness evaluation index system, studies the principles and requirements of index selection, and explains the connotation and significance of indicators; And then constructs the TOPSIS evaluation model of regional competitiveness based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to determine the index weight first, then TOPSIS model is set up comprehensive ranking of the evaluated object; Finally using the index system and evaluation model proposed in this paper, based on the statistical data of11cities in Zhejiang province in2012, ranking of Wenzhou regional competitiveness in Zhejiang province is studied, the results show that the Wenzhou on economic foundation, scientific and technological innovation, and international trade has strong advantages, in terms of infrastructure, environmental protection and industry development needs to be further improved, then use the SWOT method to analyze the ranking, and then discusses the counter measures of development of Wenzhou regional competitiveness.
