With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, strategic human resource management and intellectual capital promoting economy is increasingly significant. The various modules of the human resource management activities for the enhancement of corporate performance have been verified, the effect of a full set of human resources management system for enterprise performance became the topic of heated debate among academic.As an important concept in strategic human resources management, high involvement work systems have attracted widespread attention in academia. There is much research between HIWS and firm performance, but no unanimous conclusion exists. Otherwhile, there is little research on HIWS in the context of China.In order to improve human resource management activities and strengthen the importance of intellectual capital and human resource management practice activities on business performance enhancement. This paper discusses HIWS and FP in the high-tech enterprises, and intellectual capital as a mediating variable in China.After sorting out the relevant literature, this paper’s research model and research hypotheses were decided. High-tech enterprises in Shandong province serviced as the sample, I collected data and used descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis methods to verify the relationship between the variables.The main conclusions were as follows:Firstly, HIWS and their dimensions have marked effects on firm performance. Rigorous selection process and extensive training for firm performance promoted particularly and contingent compensation did more weekly than them.Secondly, ⅢWS promoted intellectual capital positively. The impacts on intellectual capital of each dimension are different. Thirdly,Intcllectual capital and each dimension were positive correlation.Finally,Intelleetual capital played a mediating role in the relationship of HIWS and FP. Especially, human capital, structural capital and innovation capital played a full brokering role between HIWS and FP; Customer capital palyed part of the intermediary role between ⅢWS and FP.
