Business Model has been developed as a concept and a kind of analytic tools since theend of the20thcentury. Whether the business model is fit or not is directly related toenterprise’s profitability and is further linked to the survival and development of enterprises.With the deep research on business model, more and more managers begin to take theinnovation of business model as an important direction of their innovation activities.Flexible packaging industry is a dynamic and innovative industry and currently tendsto large-scale, intensification and servicisation. Based on the existing research on flexiblepackaging industry and business model innovation, the further study of business modelinnovation for flexible packaging industry was conducted in terms of the business modeldesign and innovative approaches.The author discussed the approaches and countermeasures to business modelinnovation based on the common problems and trend of flexible packaging business. Firstof all, the author enumerated some packaging enterprises, who achieve business excellencethrough business model innovations. On the basis of the study of case analysis, the authorcame up with the countermeasures of business model innovations.The author discussed the business model innovation for A company with empiricalapproach. Original business model was introduced and describe the innovation process andfinally compare the difference of both business models and find the learning from thiscase.At the end of the article, research outlook was proposed.
