In order to develop meteorological service, establish all kinds of forecast businesssystem satisfying public meteorological service requirement, to improve the forecastaccuracy, fine degree, and to provide better homogeneity, longer time seriesobservation data, so to strengthen comprehensive meteorological observation businessconstruction, China meteorological administration in recent years has established andimproved more fine and reasonable observation network of time and space layout inorder to get the timely, stable and reliable observation data with high precision andhigh accuracy in mainland meteorological service area, climate sensitive area and keyarea and ocean areas. So far, Taiyuan city weather bureau has established92regionalautomatic meteorological station, basically covering ground meteorologicalobservation network of each villages and towns and most of the key and sensitive areas,which realizes high space-time resolution, no gap, real-time and continuous automaticmonitoring. Regional automatic meteorological station information has been widelyapplied to medium and small scale weather monitoring, prediction and early warning,short near decision meteorological service, meteorological disaster assessment,precipitation enhancement effect tests and other aspects.Regional automatic meteorological station data application in Taiyuan or eventhe entire Shanxi Province meteorological department at present is comparativelysimple, which only lists measured value, average value, extreme value ofmeteorological elements in statistical form about a moment or a period of time within acertain area and a station site. Application of this kind should be defined as a simpleprocessing, and is a kind of discrete, more primary way of application lacking ofintuitiveness. In order to give full play to the construction efficiency of regionalautomatic meteorological station, to improve the utilization rate of regional automaticmeteorological station data, it is urgent to research and develop a direct display andsimple and convenient operating data processing system for regional automaticmeteorological station to satisfy application requirements of weather forecasting, earlywarning and meteorological services, etc. Main researches of information processing system of regional automaticmeteorological station should be as follows: optimization of operation process ofreal-time and timing data for regional automatic meteorological station can realize thecentralized management of the data and related processing; Using SQL Server databasestorage technology to improve database access and application effect; To process datagraphically and to set up a comprehensive data sharing platform; information ofregional automatic meteorological station indicated in multiple forms and graphicswithin meteorological local area network (LAN) of Taiyuan city can be applied byweather business personnel at any time. The main discussion of this thesis is to designand develop an information processing system of regional automatic meteorologicalstation which is based on B/S and C/S structure, using the.NET and Surfer technologyand SQL Server2000database platform as the foundation. So to realize the function ofdata statistics query, data graphical display and data output of regional automaticmeteorological station and to achieve the purpose of providing accurate, real-time,easy and convenient comprehensive meteorological observation data shared browsingservice for the business personnel and management personnel of each meteorologicaloffices and stations at all levels.
