The structure of Qingpingchuan Oilfield is a smooth westward monocline, whose strata dip is less than1degree and km grade is4-5m, and nose structure locally developed because of differential compaction. Chang2oil formation belongs to low porosity and low permeability reservoirs influenced by Sedimentary micro-facies and diagenesis. Therefore, detailed researches on the characteristics of Chang2reservoir can provide a reliable basis for reservoir’s long-term stability.Chang2reservoirs can be divided into three sub-layers based on the analyzing of the key well’s logs, geological, cores, testing information. Through comprehensive analysis we can conclude that chang2reservoirs in Qingpingchuan Oilfield are braided river sedimentary. The petrology of reservoir is characterized by low compositional and medium structural maturity. Porosity is mainly distributed in1.8~19.1%and the average is10.8%. Permeability is mainly distributed in0.06~79.38×10-3μm2and the average is4.4189%. Pore type is mainly primary intergranular and corrosion porosity. The main diagenesis of the study area were compaction, cementation, dissolution and so on, the reservoir diagenesis of the study area had reached late diagenesis A period. This article detailed study the oiliness, lithology, physical properties and electricity of the reservoir with the method of logging interpretation and geological. Based on the method above, the paper established porosity, permeability, logging interpretation model and effective thickness lower limit standard of sand for this area. Then, chang2reservoirs were categorized according to testing and logging data, based on the study of reservoir characteristics, with logging interpretation model, and Ⅰ,Ⅱ reservoirs are the main reservoir type.
