Jiacuo of the Tebet is located in the west region of the Lake of Bansong and Nu River Orezone, which contains large amount of metal mineraldeposit. This article researches on the two parts of the district:Section one is the basic research of the spectral data.We study the basic characteristics of the field measured spectral data curve and the special structure of the two dimensional plot, preparing for the alteration information extraction scheme of the study area. We also study the influence of the spectral curve of typical mineral in both overall morphological characteristics and detailed absorption bands to the similarity index, through spectral analysis, Fourier analysis, spectral similarity analysis, and so on. Mainly use similarity index, initial phase sequence frequency to study and catch changes of the alteration index (aspect ratio) and drift index (peak displacement) from absorbing valley quantitative. doing some foreshadowing of the work for the future hyperspectral data processing.Section two is the application research.We detect the combination of different bands to distinguish between alteration abnormal minerals (rocks) and background rocks in the scatter plot, through scatter special structure of field measured spectral data, determine the alteration information extraction scheme and extract useful alteration information. Use two different spectral data from ETM and ASTER, which lies in Bangong Lake-Nu River metallogenic belt of Gyatso region in Tibet province, to do coprocessing studies, and realize the extraction alteration minerals information from coarse level to fine level in two different scales. In the extent of the argillization extracted from ETM, we achieve the subdivision of the argillized alteration information. Then we do co-processing analysis of alteration information extraction with data of different scales, to determine specific alteration types of argillized information extracted from ETM.
