At present, the optimization of the biochemical system has become an importantpart in the field of emerging metabolic engineering. In order to obtain the importantinformation of Biochemical System and promote the development of Biochemicalindustry, the people need to optimize the Biochemical System. Then it can reduce theconsumption of raw materials and increase production.In this paper, a new algorithm for a class of steady-state optimization problems ofbiochemical systems is proposed. The main content and results obtained of thesis areas follows:1. The new iterative optimization algorithm is presented on the basis of modifiediterative IOM approach. The new algorithm can solve the optimal solution quickly.Steady-state optimization with this fast algorithm can be solved by available linearprogramming, but the kinetic orders are kept constant at each iteration.2. In order to prove the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, the method isapplied to the two steady-state optimization of biochemical systems.The simulationresults show that the new algorithm is feasible and valid. Compared with the modifiediterative IOM approach, the proposed algorithm not only can converge to the optimalsolution of the biochemical system but also possesses the advantages of low computingcost.
