In the past, the mineral resources in the Cuigang-Cuinan ore block of the south of Cuihong Mountainmine area have been investigated in Xunke County, Heilongjiang Province. The Fe and Fe polymetallicdeposits are the main mineral resources, and Zn and Mo deposits also have a certain quantity. TheControlled Source Audio-frequency Magnetotellurics (CSAMT) and Spectrum Induced Polarization (SIP)have been carried out for further research on deep mineral exploration in this area. Then the previousstudies, geophysical prospecting profiles and distribution characteristics of known ore bodies wereanalysized to guide the drilling engineering layout.The main contents of this paper are as follows: full collection and comprehensive analysis of theregional geological data, and arrangement of the geophysical exploration, in the work zone usinggeophysical methods, analysis the relationship between underground lithologic interface, contact interfaceand mineralization, comprehensive analyses of various data and determining the drilling location.In2010,4CSAMT profiles (Line203, Line207, Line211and Line215) and4SIP profiles werearranged in the two eastern and western contact zones between the Caledonian corrosive and crackedgranite and the crystalline limestone of Cuihong Mountain mine area. In2011, on Kurbin riverside, eastside of the mining area,10CSAMT profiles were arranged at the crystalline limestone on the eastern bank,the granite on the western bank, and river bed on the middle bank.The contact zones between marble and granite porphyry were researched by the electrical method in thestudy area. One orebody was found at depths of800-1200meters. Therefore, the CSAMT had obtainedgood result in the study area for searching skarn polymeatal deposits. Moreover, the results provide ageophysical basis for looking for the same type ore deposits in this area.
