Hebei province is a province with large mineral reserves and rich mineral resources distributed in the region,By early 2017,there are151 kinds of minerals of various types have been discovered,120 kinds of resources and reserves have been identified,and 1,005 resource producing areas for proven reserves,of which 493 are large and medium-sized resource producing areas.In recent years,a large-scale molybdenum deposit,which has been discovered in the location of 30 km southeast of Xinglong County,Chengde City.So far,the mine bed is still in the exploration stage and the research degree is relatively low.According to the previous exploration,the structural faults in the mining area are developed,and the superposition and intersection of the east-west and north-east structural spaces make the structure complicated.This also caused a large number of ore bodies in the area,widely distributed,complex morphology(local group distribution),continuity of ore bodies,and poor stability,so for,the genetic type of the deposit has not been clearly determined.The molybdenum deposit is located in the middle of the Yanliao molybdenum(copper)metallogenic belt and on the south side of the Miyun-Qinglong fault.It is located in the southwestern Yanshan Mountains,with its continuous mountainous terrain,complex and diverse landforms,deeper terrain cutting,and dense vegetation cover,which all have a certain impact on the exploration work.In order to find out the distribution of the structure and rock mass in the mining area as soon as possible,and to determine the favorable ore-forming area,thus the anomalous target area can be delineated,we are in a large mining are and the surface does not have outcrop mine circumstance,based on the principle of "key anatomy,control vision",priority should be given to further geophysical prospecting in mining areas.Based on the available geophysical data,line 0,line II,line III and line 31 are respectively laid out in the mining area for IP(middle ladder)precise profile survey and controllable source audio magnetotelluric sounding.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the the geophysical exploration data,Confirmation of geological inference of fracture location of F1,F2 and F3,combining with regional geological data,the excitation profile measurement and the comparative analysis of CSAMT bathymetric results,it is inferred that there is a concealed Cishan rock massspreading to the southwest in the northeast of the mining area.The results of geophysical prospecting have been further confirmed by drilling verification.Based on the status quo,suggestions are put forward,such as "tracing and perfecting incomplete anomalies,key survey in key areas,summarizing metallogenic laws to optimize the target area,taking into account peripheral prospecting to expand the metallogenic prospect area".It has been verified by drilling results that the application of IP survey and CSAMT sounding in this area is reasonable and effective,which has important guiding and referential significance for future exploration of molybdenum polymetallic deposits in prospective areas with similar geological and metallogenic conditions in eastern Hebei.
