Recently, intuitionistic fuzzy multiple attribute decision making theory has been paid moreand more attention. As we know, the key to solve the intuitionistic fuzzy multiple attributedecision making problems lies in two points: one is the selection of appropriate intuitionisticfuzzy aggregation operators; two is the selection of appropriate intuitionistic fuzzy numberranking method. Many scholars at home and abroad have introduced various kinds ofintuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators and intuitionistic fuzzy number ranking methods, andapplied them in the multiple attribute decision making problems, and achieved fruitful results. However, intuitionistic fuzzy multiple attribute decision making theory still exists someproblems need to be solved. For example, we use the different operators and the differentranking methods in the same multiple attribute decision making problems, the obtained resultsmay be different. Which operator and ranking method is more reasonable, is there existuniform standards or not etc?Based on above mentioned, we will further study the existing various kinds of intuitionisticfuzzy aggregation operators and intuitionistic fuzzy number ranking methods, and propose somereasonable criterias for them respectively to measure their rationality. We will propose the newintuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators and multiple attribute decision making method toenrich and perfect the theory and method of intuitionistic fuzzy multiple attribute decisionmaking. The main research work and results are as follows:We study a varity of intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators and propose somereasonable properties for them serve as axioms, and check the common intuitionistic fuzzyaggregation operators to see whether they satisfy these properties to estimate the rationality ofaggregation operators. We propose the new intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators by generalized the existingoperators and study some desirable properties of them, such as commutativity, idempotency, monotonicity and boundedness. Then, we apply the proposed aggregation operator to multipleattribute decision making and develop an approach to multiple attribute decision making. We study a varity of intuitionistic fuzzy number ranking methods, and propose some important properties which serve as axioms to measure the rationality of an ordering method, and check thecommon ordering methods to see whether the proposed axioms are fulfilled or not.
