Cold rolling mill is the typical representative of modern machine electro-hydraulicintegrated system. And the hydraulic AGC system is the important symbol of the plantlevel of the cold rolling mill, because of the high accuracy, rapid reaction rate and simpleand reliable overload protection.This project about the1200rolling mill hydraulic AGC system can be seen as aresearch which targets are the mathematical modeling and analysis of the dynamic andstatic characteristics, and mainly study how the significant components of the hydraulicAGC system such as servo valve, hydraulic cylinder and sensors and the performanceparameter impact the dynamic and static characteristics of hydraulic AGC system. Andfinally, this project has completed the following aspects of work:Firstly, Mechanism modeling method is adopted when doing the mathematicalmodeling for the key components of hydraulic AGC system of the1200rolling mill,including the servo valve, hydraulic cylinder, mill roll system, back pressure oil returnpipe, displacement sensor and pressure sensor, in order to explore effect of theseparameters on the dynamic and static characteristics of hydraulic AGC system.Secondly, simulation software MATLAB/Simulink can be used to build a systemsimulation model, and doing the building and structure analysis for models, such as thesystem location model, no-load speed model, no-strip load rolling force model, dynamiclocation model and the dynamic rolling force model. By using this model, calculation ofthe time domain and frequency domain analysis can be built, in order to realize thedynamic and static characteristics of the1200rolling mill hydraulic AGC system.Finally, by combining the hardware system and the software system, adopting theVC++to codify the main program and using the MATLAB to codify the simulatingprogram, a rolling mill surveying and controlling hydraulic AGC system was developed,which can be used to survey and control the dynamic and static characteristics of AGCsystem and direct the rolling technology in site.
