Spray forming as a new rapid solidification technology which is developing veryrapidly in recent years, has been used widely in developing all high-performance metalmaterials with rapid solidification organization characteristics. The atomizer is theimportant component in the spray forming atomization system, it can make theatomization medium (gas, etc) to obtain high energy, high speed and the medium of theenergy concentration atomization passed to the molten metal, the stability of the processfor atomization and spray efficiency to play a key role. The air pressure is the mostdirect spray process effectively control measures, it will directly influent theatomization effect and finally affect the injection forming billet minas finalperformance.In order to improve the atomization effect of the double sprayer and to improve thestability of the atomization process, this paper shall design a double level compoundatomization which consists of two gas atomizer systems, the primary and the junioratomizer sprayer. The mist maker used to open atomization primarily atomization way,primary atomizer for auxiliary mist maker, choose constraints in mist maker; Junioratomizer spray is the main unit, it adopts auto-fall atomizer.This paper discusses the influence of the structural parameters and spray processparameters to the flow field, and finally determines the optimal structure and sprayerprocess parameters by using Fluent software numerical simulation. Then Readjust thesimulation results by the gas dynamic experiment and water spray test.Through the comparative analysis to the structure of the gas under differentatomizer flow characteristics, eventually determine the best structure parameters of thecomplex double sprayer, among which the atomizer taper angle is10degree, crackwidth is0.3mm, The inside hole diameter of the second sprayer for40mm, taperangleis40degree, crack width is0.5mm, the distance between the primary atomizerand the second atomizer is40mm.of the double stages atomizer with the best structural parameters in differentpressures has been simulated. Determining minimum pressure to prevent the backflow.The result shows that the gas flow field is stable when the gas pressure for4atm, thelower the gas pressure for20atm.Design and manufactrue the two-stage composited atomizer based on thesimulation results, the guide liquid pipe length out for5mm,and through the gasdynamic experiment to measuring the velocity distribution within the atomization cone.And through the water spray experimental results verify the flow field characteristics inthe different pressures, including superior atomizer and junior atomizer diversion effects of atomization effect. The experimental results show that the two-stage compositeatomizer’s work performance is good. and the flow field characteristics in differentpressure are basically the same with the simulation results. Explain the structure of thecomplex double level sprayer can be used in the production of injection forming, andthis paper has very important significance for it provides the available technologyparameters on the injection forming of the practice process control...
