Coating machine is one kind of rapidly developing equipment in light industry, itapply layers of certain materials onto the original subject’s surface with the purpose ofimproving the subject’s function or protecting it’s surface, thus improve theavailability of product. With the development international coating industry and theexpanding need of the market, making coating product of high quality and widevariety has became the target of each coating company. Aimed at solve thecomplexity and diversity of the coating machine, this paper modulized the coatingmachine based on modular design theory; evaluate the adaptability of coating machinebased on adaptable design theory; put forward two kinds of adaptable interfacescheme for coating trollery under the design requirements of adaptable interface; alsomake analysis of the dynamic and static performance of adaptable interface andverified it’s static stiffness, and designed the constant ratio control system, verifiedthe effectiveness of this control system by co-simulation, provided an effectivemethod for enterprise to quickly solve coating machine diversity and coating weightprecision.The main contents of this article are as follows:1) The general situation of coating machine is expounded. Module design theory,adaptable design theory, the carbon footpringt and its application were investigated.The research contents and significance of this article were brought forward.2) The principle and structure of coating machine are analysed. Based on modulardesign principle, the system function, module structure and configuration werepresented. The identification of coating machine product platform and atructure ofadaptable software platform were brought forward.3) The evaluation indexes of product adaptability were discussed, and the costestimation and carbon footprint calculation for coating machine modules werepresebted. From the view of cost and carbon footprint for coating machine of theadaptability evaluation, adaptable design and manufacture is a kind of low cost, highefficiency method was pointed out. 4) According to the diversity of coating machine, analysed the research status ofcoating trollery, combined with the design requirement of the adaptable interface, twokinds of coating trollery interface scheme were put forward.5) The dynamic and staic performance of adaptable interface were analysed, andits dynamic and static stiffness were verified, the interface secheme was optimized. Inorder to ensure the uniform and constant of coating weight, the constant ratio controlsystem for five roller solventless coating system is put out; the rationality and validitywere verified by the ADAMS and AMESim co-simulation.
