With the development of welding technology, using the good testing equipmentand methods for real-time detection and stability evaluation, so as to minimize thenegative impacts of human factors in the welding process become very impartment.In this paper, a synchronous multi-information acquisition and analysis systemfor welding process has developed with the LabVIEW programming technologybased on the equipments in the laboratory, including the data acquisition cards,high-speed camera system and the spectrometer. The system mainly includes dataacquisition module, data analysis module, replay module and a series of signalprocessing module. This system can offer a reliable assessment of the welding processby getting lots of information during this process, and provide bases of theory analysisfor improvement of the performance of the welding source and the experimentalmethod.Through the laser welding and the GMAW experiments, the main functions ofthe system have been verified. The results show that the three kind of information(electrical signals of the plasma sheath, high-speed video, spectrum) can be collectedsimultaneously during the laser welding process, and then be stored, replayed andanalyzed in time, which provide a new research direction of using these to reflect theeruption of fluctuating plasma and the fluctuation trend of electron temperature inreal-time monitoring. Nowadays, there is no report about stability assessment of thedynamic characteristic of the wire-feed system at home, in consideration of thiscurrent situation, an according analysis module of the dynamic characteristic of thewire feed was introduce in this system, aim at combining the current and voltage waveform to analyze the welding process and the device performance comprehensively,and provide a gist for improving the welding quality by tested and controlled GMAWprocess dynamically.
