Cationic polyacrylamide is an important type of water-soluble cationicflocculant.Currently, it is one of the most widely used flocculating agents. It hasnumerous advantages, such as good coagulation effect, less dosage, widely pH rangeused, safe and non-toxic. At present, the researchers get more and more the attention ofnew type of cationic polyacrylamide research.The paper considers the factor which can Affect the P(AM-DMC-DAC)’sperformance, such as aggregation intensity of light, monomer ratio,total monomer massfraction,initiator,urea,photopolymerization time and pH.The effect of Polymercharacterization shows it has new features and flocculation properties. It has highflocculation effect on sludge dewatering and domestic sewage, when it contrasts toother flocculants.After the single factor experiment research, it takes these factors which theaggregation intensity of light is1760μW/cm~2,the monomer ratio of3:7,total monomermass fraction was30%,choose inorganic intiator system as initiator, and the best contentis1.44%, urea consumption of4‰,for60min as photopolymerization time, reactionsystem pH value is6,as the P(AM-DMC-DAC) optimal conditions for synthesis.Itanalysis these factors, take use of orthogonal experiment, the relative molecular mass ofthe polymer can reach12.35million when the total monomer mass fraction of30%,monomer ratio of3:7, the initiator dosage is1.44‰, urea consumption4‰, thephotopolymerization time is50min.Determined by infrared spectrum analysis of functional groups, the polymer can besure it is P(AM-DMC-DAC). It take scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to analyzepolymer microstructure, which indicates that it has excellent surface microstructure, andhas the powerful adsorption function. The differential thermal-thermogravimetric(TGA-DTA) analysis showed that, the polymer has good thermal stability, it is verystability when at the room temperature.The preparation of the P(AM-DMC-DAC) was used for sludge dewateringexperimental research.The experimental data showed that the best sludge dewateringresult can be achieved when the optimal dosage being1.4kg/t dry sludge, and the waterratio of filter was69.7%, the filtrate turbidity was4.23NTU, and when the cationicdegree being40%, the water ratio of filter was71.6%, the filtrate turbidity was 3.45NTU, when the molecular weight being9.15million, the water ratio of filter was73.4%, the filtrate turbidity was3.21NTU.Contrast to other domestic and foreign three products, the sludge flocs formed byself-made P(AM-DMC-DAC) wsa maximum.It has most compact structure, and thesedimentation speed was fast, and the Spate separation effect is most obvious. It hadmore treatment effect but use low dosage. Effect on dispose sludge treatment isobviously better than that of Shandong and Zhejiang, is slightly better than that ofJapanese products.The self-made P(AM-DMC-DAC) was compound with inorganic flocculant, andobtains a new composite flocculant PAFS-CPAM, and take it to deal with the domesticsewage. The results show that the PAFS-CPAM has more removal on domestic sewageof the CODcr and turbidity when it contrast to PAFS and CPAM.And, in the actualproduction, PAFS-CPAM had more economical effect compared with the PAFS, CPAM.The self-made P (AM-DMC-DAC) was compound with inorganic flocculant, andobtains a new composite flocculant PAFS-CPAM, and take it to deal with the domesticsewage, and the sewage flocculation index can be used for the contrast of theflocculation efficiency. The results show that the PAFS-CPAM has more removal onsewage of the CODcr and turbidity when it contrast to PAFS and CPAM.And,comparison to PAFS and P(AM-DMC-DAC),PAFS-CPAM has adaptation pH wide,italso has excellent effectiveness on wastewater when it under different pH values.
