Polyacrylamide(PAM)is a kind of polymer with linear molecular structure,which is widely used in sewage treatment,oil exploitation,papermaking,medicine and food etc.With the continuous development of industrial city,the increase of population,water resources,for a long period of time,we are faced with the lack of water resources,and polyacrylamide plays an important role in solving these problems.So it is very important to study the polyacrylamide with good performance and can meet the different needs.In this paper,three kinds of ionic polyacrylamide were synthesized by photo initiated polymerization of aqueous solution.Taking single factor optimization experiments,monomer ratio,monomer concentration,dosage of initiating agent,reaction temperature,illumination time,pH,dosage of urea and other factors were analysed.In order to synthesis of high molecular weight,and the product with good flocculation performance.The optimal reaction condition of anionic polyacrylamide:molar ratio of n(AM):n(NaAA)=1:0.35,the monomer mass fraction is 32%,the amount of initiator is 0.04%,the illumination time is 2.0 h,the reaction temperature is 25 ?,the pH of reaction system control in 6.5,urea content is 4%,the product of intrinsic viscosity is 1260mL/g,the solid content is 41.39%,the amount of residual acrylamide is 0.029%.The optimal reaction condition of cationic polyacrylamide:molar ratio of n(AM):n(DMDAAC)=1:0.18,the monomer mass fraction is 25%,the amount of initiator is 0.02%,the illumination time is 2.5 h,the reaction temperature is 30 ?,the pH of reaction system control in 6.0,urea content is 4%;the product of intrinsic viscosity is 934mL/g,the solid content is 33.82%,the amount of residual acrylamide is 0.040%.The optimal reaction condition of amphoteric polyacrylamide:molar ratio of n(AM):n(NaAA):n(DMC)=1:0.63:0.14,the monomer mass fraction is 38%,the amount of initiator is 0.06%,the illumination time is 1.5 h,the reaction temperature is 40 ?,the pH of reaction system control in 7.5,the product of intrinsic viscosity is 845mL/g,the solid content is 38.06%,the amount of residual acrylamide is 0.037%.The composition and structure of the synthesized products were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectrum spectra of the synthesized product,the results show that the polymer has been generated.Comparison of three different types of polyacrylamide in the experiment for flocculation of coal slurry.Through the experiment,it can be seen that the types,molecular weight,dosage of the flocculant,and the concentration of the coal slurry have great influence on the flocculation effect.The experimental data show that the products are added to the Wang feng gang coal slurry,and have good flocculating effects.
