Since China entered the WTO,Chinese textile industry has developed swiftly. The textileproduct in international trade has occupied one-third of the world export.China has already become the textile giant.So other countries gradually raise demands onChinese textile.Moreover,with the continuous development of computer technology andautomatic control technology,it make our textile enterprises have to improve the productioncapacity of equipment by advanced control method to find a new road to the mechatronics.Asthe key part of textile industry,the dyeing process got more and more attention in recentyears.The automation degree of dyeing equipment can significantly affect the dyeing processlevel.Therefore,how to improve the automation degree of dying equipment has become one ofthe most important issue in the dyeing process at present.This paper from the current development status of dyeing machine control technology toresearch on group control system for high temperature and high pressure dyeing machine.Itintroduce PLC control,inverter control,PID control,fieldbus network technology,IPC and otheradvanced technology in high temperature and high pressure dyeing group control system toachieve the control of five high temperature and high pressure dyeing machinessimultaneously. PLC is the control center of the entire group control system.All signal thatenter the system must go through the PLC first.Afer reading the input signal,it control relateddevice to be executed by the internal program.The ET200M remote I/O module read thetemperature signal which detected by the temperature sensor.Comparing the readingtemperature with the setted standard temperature by the written PID control program.Afterprocessed by PID algorithm,the output signal will control regulating valve to regulate theproportion of the steam or cooling water valve’s opening. Through the inverter to controlclockwise rotating,anticlockwise rotating and the speed of the main circulating pump motorand hoisting drum motor.The IPC provides a friendly HMI for group control system. IPCcommunicate with PLC by industrial control configuration software.It can configure,programand manage data in the configuration software interface.It will get the required operatingscreen,monitoring screen and the control screen to real-time monitor of the field system.The group control system of the high temperature and high pressure dyeing machine is based on MPI communication protocol and the PROFIBUS-DP field communication protocol.The PLC main control module communicate with IPC by MPI interface.The ET200M RemoteI/O sub-controller and inverter through Profibus-DP fieldbus to communicate with PLC maincontrol module.Reading operational status and data of five high temperature and highpressure dyeing machines by IPC.At the same time it could adjust operational status of eachhigh temperature and high pressure dyeing machine.And it could set system parameter anddisplay alarm.
