In the annealing process, the inner stress changes in glass is very complicated,temporary stresses and permanent stress will be formed then. Study of the size and thelevel of distribution will directly related to the quality of the glass. This paper is practicalto improve the efficiency of glass production. The paper analyzed the reasons and processof the formation of stress within the glass, and established the numerical model based onANSYS. Simulated the low of forming of the internal stress during the annealing processand calculated the value of the stress too.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,introduced the theory of glass’s annealing and relaationg,and then analysisedthe theoretical method and the formula of reason for temporary stress, structural stress andpermanent stress during the annealing process.Secondly,established the model for glass elastomer based on ANSYS.Using thecomposition of the glass and annealing kiln data, the parameter properties and boundarythat are needed to the structural stress during the annealing process was derived.Also theresidual temperature stress and structural were simulated and calculated.Finally,according to the actual production process, the process in the annealing zoneC was simulated and calculated. In odditon,the cooling curve for thickness and stressvalue in zone C was given. Through multiple simulations, the theoretical value of theannealing in annealing kiln C that consistents with the actual operation was given, whichis useful to improve the actual glass annealing process.
