Liquor distillation is unique in the Chinese liquor brewing technology. Liquor bysolid distillation is inherited down intactly due to its perfect flavor retentioncharacteristic, and technical improvements and updates constantly as the developmentof the history. But with the liquor production scale and industrialization, alonetraditional labor distillation methods become increasingly unsuited to the status ofmodern liquor production. Along with the development of computer technology andcontrol technology, the technology used in the production of liquor distillation theprocess also becomes a practical solution, there’s no doubt that it will also have amajor significance to improve the efficiency of the production in the liquormanufacturing enterprises.In this paper, through a depth study of the status of the process liquor distillation,many deficiencies and problems are discovered which may not meet modernproduction. As the higher distillation demands of today’s most liquor manufacturingenterprises, we design a set of automation systems of liquor distillation by computercontrol technology. The system can monitor pressure, temperature, and alcoholcontent. Meanwhile, distillation process can be adjusted according to the processrequirements.In the system design process, firstly, the process flow characteristic is analyzedand system reform scheme is proposed. In the system, a hardware control platform isbuilt with DAQ card (Data Acquisition card) and Industrial Tablet PC for thecontroller, sensors and actuators for the detection and implementation hardware.According to the system structure, three continuous system control process ismathematical modeled by the method of mechanism interpretation.Secondly, the three processes characteristics are analyzed and appropriatestrategies are designed respectively. Especially for the output line pressure controlprocess, feedforward-feedback composite control structure is adopted and staticfeedforward controller is designed to suppress the inlet steam disturbance.Considering the process structure parameters changed by time-variability, fuzzyadaptive PID controller is designed for the control parameters auto-tuning. Accordingto the control strategy, the three control processes are simulation analyzed in Simulink.System SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software is designedin Labview, integrating data acquisition, process control and status display functions.Related functions is tested and experimented, the experimental results verify thefeasibility of the system.
