| The rubber stator and metal rotor compose the core of PCP system, and the statorrubber whose wear behavior restricts the efficiency and longevity is especially important.The different water content in oil has great influence with the friction and wear behaviour,but there are few technical reports about this topic at present. How to characterize andknow the mechanism of stator wear accurately is becoming difficult problems in thepetroleum machinery field. Therefore, the study on friction and wear behaviour of rubberstator is a very worth research topic to Improve the efficiency and longevity of PCP.In this dissertation, the research background of the working condition of the rubberstator and metal rotor in PCP, the friction and wear behaviour and wear mechanism ofrubber stator are researched deeply, offering suggestion on choosing material for therubber stator in the mixture of oil with different water content. The NBR and FKM areexperimented by MPV-600ring-on-block tester in the mixture of oil with different watercontent to research their friction and wear behaviour and wear mechanism.The results show that, FKM owns better wearing resistance than NBR in the mixtureof crude oil with different water content, Meanwhile, swelling property also has greatinfluence to the wear loss, the wear loss of the rubber swelled is bigger than the one notswelled. the wear loss also has relationship with friction pairs, when the content of water inthe mixture is more than26%, the condition of the mixture is oil-in-water there is waterfilm between the friction pairs, abrasive wear plays a leading role, wear loss of FKM ismuch smaller than that of NBR; when the content of water in the mixture is less than26%,the condition of the mixture is water-in-oil there is oil film between the friction pairs,fatigue wear plays a leading role, wear loss of FKM is almost as big as that of NBR. |
