This modle conforms to people’s expecting towardsurban development, and basically meets the requirements of sustainable development view.Moreover, it is regarded as a rational choice in future urban development, which hasaroused extensive concern in the international community. In urban construction, thelegal system guides and conducts the relevant rules’ formulation, implementation andmodification throughout whole process. Besides, the legal system serves conduction,adjustment and guarantee functions on urban development. Improved legal system on urbanplanning is conducive to advance and guarantee eco-city constructions.Chiefly employed comprehensive analysis, history analysis and comparative method,this paper examines legal system on urban planning, draws foreign advanced ideas, makesfurther considerations as well as puts forward some suggestions in many respects. Boosting eco-city construction in our country in order to realize a long-term and a stable development target forthe city.
