Producing large of wastewater in daily production and life, the water of oily wastewater directly discharged would produce serious environmental pollution, and endanger to health. The main work of this article were fabricate super-hydrophobic and super-oleophilic membrane and with the membrane prepared to separate oil-water mixture.Copper oxide membrane with Micro-nano hierarchical structure was successfully prepared based on the copper film by surface controlled oxidation. In order to make the copper oxide membranes express super-hydriphoobicity modifying the membrane with dodecanethiol. The contact angle of water on the membrane reached the biggest152°. Organic reagent like n-hexane, toluene, cyclohexane, etc. was added dropwise to the surface of the membrane, they can rapidly permeate through the surface, which express the dodecanethiol membrane has super-oleophilic. With the membrane prepared to separate oil-water mixture. The results showed that:the separation was best when the oil phase was paraffins, cycloalkane followed, and the oil phase containing a benzene ring was worst; the higher of the initial oil content, the better the separation of the membrane; and the separation was obviously decrease after the membrane was used many times.The dodecanethiol membrane was modified in this work, and successfully prepared tetradecanoic acid and dodecanethiol membrane which hydrophobic was better, and the contact angle of water was158.6°.With the tetradecanoic acid and dodecanethiol membrane separating oil-water mixture, and the result indicated that the state of presence of the oil phase in the mixture, weather there was surfactant in the mixture, the using frequency of the membrane had effect on the separation of the membrane. When starting oil content of3000mg/L of toluene-water semi-emulsified mixture was separated for an hour the content of the oil was reduced to about300mg/L, separation efficiency up to90%; while if the mixture was completely emulsified after separated for an hour the content of the oil was800mg/L, and the separation efficiency decline to70%; when there was surfactant in the oil-water mixture the separation of the membrane also reduce, and the content of3000mg/L of the mixture was separated for an hour, the concentration of oil in the mixture reduced to1000mg/L, the separation efficiency was only67%. After used for many times the separation of the membrane declined, and cleaned with ethanol the separating capability was partly restored. At the same time, the anti-corrosion test of the membrane was carried out. Experiments showed that the anti-corrosion of the membrane was not very well, after being etched the contact angle of the water becomes small, and the separating capacity is also decreased.
