Copper is an important metal that has a wide range of applications due to its mechanical workability,good formabilty,good electrical and thermal conductivities.However seawater which contains not only chlorine ion but also e.coli can corrode copper.It is important to improve its anti-corrosion in seawater.This article mainly adopts the method of surface modification.One method is forming self-assembled film(4-PPM).We used electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and electrochemical polarization to investigate the corrosion inhibition behavior of 4-PPM SAMs for copper in 3% Na Cl solution.SERS technique was used to provide insight into the interaction manner of the 4-PPM molecules with the copper surface.The density function theory DFT can give some informition of highest occupied molecular orbital energy level(HOMO),the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy level(LUMO).Another method is making hydrophobic surface based on the adhesion of polydopamine(PDA).Using contact angle measurement,Near Infrared Spectroscopy(NIR)test,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)to characterize the preparation of the hydrophobic surface.And the scanning electron microscope(SEM)results show that the hydrophobic surface on copper has good corrosion inhibition in seawater.In addition,on the surface of the hydrophobic surface we introduce silver nanoparticles.Because silver nanoparticles have good antimicrobial properties,thus the surface can be used to delay the corrosion of escherichia coli to copper.The SEM showed that hydrophobic surface modified silver nanoparticles has good antimicrobial properties.1 The anticorrosion performance of 4-PPM monolayers at the copper surface formed under different 4-PPM concentration and different immersion time has been performed by using EIS,electrochemical polarization measurement,and SERS technique.When the assembly time is 6 h in 10-4M 4-PPM,it reached the highest inhibition efficiency of 83.2%.2 Using PDA and 1-DT,we obtained a hydrophobic surface and its contact angle is110°.The 1-DT molecules were primarily attached at the copper surface by formation of Cu-S bond and side reactions involving the hydrogen bond or physical adsorption.And the SEM results show that the hydrophobic surface has good corrosionresistance.3 We introduced silver nanoparticles based on the above hydrophobic surface.SEM results show that the surface has good antimicrobial properties to e.Coli and copper surface with silver nanoparticles has a minimum of e.Coli.
