In recent years, with economic development and modernization, the pace of the urbanization process in China has also accelerated. Infrastructure construction projects have sprung up. However, with the expansion of the quarry’s number and size, a large amount of bare slope appears. Due to large-scale excavation and embankment, not only the slope is left the hidden dangers of geological disasters, but the ecosystem within the region also suffered serious damage, causing vegetation degradation, environmental pollution and the other serious problems.In China, the abandoned quarry has started to receive attention, but there are still many deficiencies. First, the blindly introduction of engineering technology in the quarry slope ecological recovery, and the foreign resumption of green technologies is still prevalent, because of the shortage of ecological restoration measures what are according to the specific situation of their national, regional quarry conditions and the combination of ecology and landscape, the rectification work is defeated, such as the late vegetation degradation and ecosystem instability problems. Secondly, the government of the abandoned quarry slope pays more attention to the engineering and technical aspects, but not considered the effect of slope landscape construction nowadays.In the process of vegetation restoration, the engineering measures of ecological restoration what are short of landscape effects are used, ignoring the law of ecosystem development.To co-ordinate the entire article framework, according to recent problems about the ecological restoration of abandoned quarry slope. Firstly, the paper analysis of abandoned quarry resources, ecology, landscape destruction and the principles of the slope vegetation protection, explain clearly the need for ecological restoration of the abandoned quarry slope which leads to the study of ecological landscape design, especially for the eco-design mode and theory-based inquiry, in order to more in-depth understanding of the abandoned quarry vegetation restoration design standards and landscape research guide.Subsequently, the four aspects of the entire quarry slope vegetation ecological recovery design, slope cutting design, slope support design, drainage design and slope vegetation recovery design are analyzed in detail. The paper elaborates the design effect, the design principles, the techniques of engineering design, the practices of landscape design and the design standards of the four aspects, with a large number of engineering atlas.Finally, learning from the study the research of scholars at home and abroad, and did demonstration analysis example of Zhejiang Wugongao quarry landscape restoration of slope vegetation, this part of the research is primarily focused on project engineering control measures, the choice of the slope vegetation and landscape design, embodied in the whole process, and further demonstrated that the abandoned quarry slope vegetation landscape restoration in the basic ideas.Trough the study of landscape ecology of the abandoned quarry slope vegetation to restore, combining with domestic and foreign advanced research, this paper try to put forward to combine with the actual situation on the bare slope governance. Through rigorous scientific computing, we can explore the way in which can achieve the desired effect of stabilizing the slope in the engineering, but also achieve the goal of improving the ecological environment of the quarry slope and landscape renewal requirements. Through the planning practices which combine with works and landscape, to obtain maximum ecological benefits of the slope governance, social and economic benefits.
