Researching And Experimental Verification On The Air-jet Loom Warp Tension Model

Loom has been developed thousands of years since ancient China, air jet loom integratedwith modern technology, will perform nicely in the not long future. Warp tension is one of themost important parameters of loom, which has significant implications on production efficiencyand fabric qualityIn this paper, the RIFAJA10air jet loom is being used as the study object, analyzingvarious movements of loom to warp tension effects. Results show that there are two mainfactors to that:(1) static tension, which is the warp tension before weaving, is the base of thedynamic volatility tension;(2) the dynamic tension of warp, which can be divided into twoparts: the low-frequency component mainly caused by let-off and take-up movements and thehigh frequency mainly caused by beating-up and shedding movements.Yarn born with creep, relaxation of stress phenomenon is a typical viscoelastic material.Viscoelastic material can be divided into linear and nonlinear ones. The famous MAXWELLand VOIGHT are both consisted of the hooker spring and Newton sticky pot. But these modelsare linear, can’t describe the actual situation exactly in most cases. So, A non-linear modelparalleled by a non-linear spring and a three components model is built. Then this non-linearmodel is used in the warp of air jet loom in this article.In addition, this paper is proved by testing. In the test：The LPC1768single chipmicrocomputer is used to control the57BYGH250C step motor exactly while the PCI1768dataacquisition card is used to acquire real time data in the experiment platform.34.29Tex,45.45Tex and58.3Tex cotton yarns are used to do experiments, the experiment curves are got basedon polynomial fitting. The results indicate that the theory curve is consistent with experimentcurve.Finally, this paper makes a summary and outlook. Giving a summary of this research work and studies, and pointing out some deficiencies in this article.
