With the continuous improvement of the mechanization level of domestic coalindustry, underground electrical and mechanical equipment is growing more andmore important. At the same time, control switches for it have become popular in theunderground working face. The management of switches in coal mine occupies anincreasingly important position in production. The purpose of the switchmanagement is based on using down hole mechanical and electrical equipmentrationally to improve the utilization of resources and protect the lives and safety ofminers. If there is a latent or sudden failure, the mechanical and electrical equipmentwill be non-normal operation. Over time, it often causes equipment failure, and evenleads to electrical wounding accident. Therefore, improving the level of equipmentmanagement, and providing a visualization of underground switch online monitoringsystem have become an urgent need in modern digital mine management.According to in-depth study for the information management status quo aboutdomestic coal mine switches, and analysis of a variety of information managementabout the down hole equipment at home and abroad, the topic puts forward a methodof using Virtual instruments and geographic information systems to establish adomestic digital visualization management system with coal mining equipment.Combining with the actual situation, it develops a monitoring and managementsystem in coal mine switchgear.First of all, combined the chip temperature sensor with the voltage and currentsensor, collect the running parameters information of the switch in the undergroundQBZ80switch. Based on ZigBee wireless transmission network, using ZigBee chip’sJN5139for the collection transmission function of underground switch monitoringsystem information. And design the power supply required for the monitoring systemhardware circuit.The next, design coal mine monitoring system monitoring interface switch in thecontrol room on the ground using LabVIEW virtual instrument.Combine SQLServer2000database to complete the data acquisition and display, save and thehistorical query function. Analyze trends beyond the threshold range switchparameters, sent SMS notification to the management through KUNS-G-S3.Once again, using Visual Basic and MapGis to design the secondary development of coal mine switch, draw the underground tunnel switching system, and call HelpViewer by LabVIEW Controls. Finally, explore underground switch monitoringsystem database design.This topic designs a coal mine switch monitoring system for Dragon GroupQitaihe Coal Branch, in accordance with the parameters and switches which are inreal-time running status, showing parameters and analyzing tendency for thecollected switch signal. With the reference of switch parameters which are allowedand the past work experience of engineers, it achieves the goal of overrun warningand remote query. At the same time, it realizes management by map with geographicinformation system, in order to improve the safety, reliability and utilization of coalmining work, reduce production risks and the labor intensity of staff and enhancesafety supervision on each face. And then will save a lot of maintenance time andcosts, and produce huge economic benefits.
