Tertiary amine have important applications in organic synthesis, which is a common organic base, phase transfer catalyst, surface activeagent, wetting agent, preservatives, fungicides, higher-energy fuels, rubber vulcanization accelerator, etc. In recent years, organic chemistshave conducted other application research for tertiary amine, whichprovide the new understanding of the tertiary amine to peoplesuccessfully. In this paper, discusses the application of tertiary amine intriphosgene and nucleophilic reagent interactions from several aspects:(l)The first developed the application tertiary amine in the reaction oftriphosgene and aniline. Tertiary amine can fracture formation chlorideunder the action of triphosgene but the nucleophilic weak of anilinewhich determined the low yield of reaction. While the tertiary amine can reduce isocyanate to diphenyl urea, which provides a highly efficient, functional groups compatibility way for the synthesis of phenyl urea.(2)Uracil derivatives as substrate have good nucleophilic which can get aseries of new type derivatives. For Potentially pharmacodynamic uracilderivatives synthesise provides a new route.(3) The reaction oftriphosgene and Aromatic Acids illustrates that the reducing andformation chloride of tertiary amine exist some competition. In theprocess of synthesis, the best reaction conditions have been exploredwhich include the best solvent, temperature, and reaction time. At thesame time, the compound structures were determined. The research for synthetic phenyl thiourea deirvatives, uracilderivatives, acid anhydride provide a new route. Simple operation, mildconditions, yield is optimal for the application provided prospects...
