CNC Programming For Five-Axis Machining Center Of MIKRON Based On UG

CNC machining is an advanced manufacturing technology at home and abroad. And as one of the typical representatives, five-axis machining center has been widely used in the factory. With using it, we achieve the automated processing of complex parts. However, for its CNC programming, there are some problems. In many advanced processing center, it’s completed by the machine provider. So based on the powerful post-processing module in UG, we study the CNC programming, including its pre-processing and post-processing. The work is as follows:1)According to the requirements of workpiece, cutting path and tool position file, we use the methods of adjusting cutting step, cutting line spacing and pass interference to create high-quality tool bit trajectory. Finally through the simulation, we illustrate the production of high-quality cutter location. Achieve the pre-processing of CNC programming based on UG/Modeling.2)We analysis the movement form of five-axis CNC machine with different combinations of tool and work bench. With study the MIKRON UCP800DURO5-axis CNC machine, we solve the movement in the ideal state, and deduce the formula of changing the cutter location data to the movement data of machine axes, establish the model, laying foundation for post-processing.3)We studied some problems to be solved in5-axis CNC machine. In basic Settings of UG/Post Builder, we study machine parameters, procedures and tool path parameters, NC code formatting, G and M codes, we finish establishing the processor. At last, we study the TCL language in Custom Command, develop special post-processing. Achieve the post-processing of CNC programming based on UG/Post Builder.The research results have some significant meaning. It not only finish the CNC programming for five-axis machining center of ucp800Based on UG, but also has some positive effect for the development of in post-processing based on UG.
