Along with the rapid development of computer and electronic information technology,numerical control processing technology also rapid development towards high efficiency and high precision automation.Five-axis linkage CNC machine set the most advanced technology of numerical control processing,which in the modern manufacturing process of some products has irreplaceable function and greatly enhance the enterprise competitiveness in the market.Due to its late start in this area in our country,it is a bit further away than the foreign on the development of the five-axis machine.In this paper,based on UG platform,as the post processing research of MIKRON UCP 800 DURO five axis NC machine tool for the center,the numerical control program technology and The post processing technology and simulation processing technology in the numerical control machining was studied,which has certain advance effect to the application of the five-axis machine tool.The work is as follows:1)The core principle of five-axis machining programming variable axial surface contour milling based on UG was studied on the basis of 3D models.Combined with concrete examples,the characteristics and application scope of the tool path created by this way of the driving method,projection vector and arbor control were discussed.On this basis,combining with the machining process of the impeller,the tool path generation of impeller from roughing to finishing has been completed.Through the 2D simulation,the feasibility of tool path was verified and the pre-processing was realized,which provided satisfactory CL file for the post-processing.2)For specific tasks in the post processing,the motion solve of double turntable 5-axis NC machine tools in the ideal state,such as UCP 800,was studied.The calculation formula of transforming CL data to movement data of each axis was deduced and the movement solving algorithm of post processing was given,which laid foundations for post processing.The causes and relevant control methods of the non-linear error have been analyzed.Through the simulation,the RTCP function of machine which can effectively control the non-linear error was verified.Based on UG/Post Builder,its internal operation principle was analyzed.By setting the machine parameters,process and tool path,NC code format,and so on,writing custom user commands through TCL language,the special post processor of this five-axis CNC machine has been developed.The CL file of the above was processed and the NC program could satisfy the requirement of ITNC 530 control system.3)By surveying and mapping main parts size of the machine,each part was modeled and assembled based on UG.According to the actual movement affiliation,each component was turned into the simulation software Vericut in this way of STL format and ensured consistent with the actual machine tool.After setting the related parameters,the NC program was imported to simulate.There are no alarm prompts in the process of simulation,such as collision,interference and procedural error.It has been founded that the cut and the residue are within the allowed tolerance by the automatic comparative analysis.Finally,the feed speed in the NC program was optimized and the optimized single blade could save time 6.81%,which greatly improved the processing efficiency.In this paper,through the simulation machining to the complex impeller,it has been verified that the special postprocessor system of the UCP 800 five-axis NC machining center developed based on UG/Post Builder was workable and could work on actual processing to the NC program,which has certain reference significance for other five-axis CNC machine tools to develop post processor.At the same time,it has important reference value for multi-axis programming and simulation processing of complex parts.
