The amino-terminated polysiloxane was prepared by catalytic balance method. Theoctamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) was polymer monomer, under the catalysis of potassiumhydroxide (KOH),1,3-Bis-(3-aminopropyl)-tetramethyldisiloxane as capping agent, anddimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as promoting agent. Then the amino-terminated polysiloxane(ATPS) was modified by N-β-aminoethyl-γ-aminopropyl-methyldimethoxysilane (KH-602),and the amino-terminated side chain polysiloxane (ATSCPS) was prepared. The structures ofthe two products were characterized by IR and1H-NMR. The effects of reaction temperatureand reaction time, the amount of KOH and DMSO on the viscosity and conversion rate of thetwo kinds of amino-silicone oil were discussed.For the amino-terminated polysiloxane, the results show the optimum conditions asfollows: reaction temperature is100℃, reaction time is5hours, the content of KOH, DMSO,capping agent is0.015%,0.75%and0.23%of the mass of D4. For the amino-terminated sidechain polysiloxane, the results show the optimum conditions as follows: reaction temperatureis100℃, reaction time is10hours, the content of KOH, DMSO, capping agent and KH-602is0.03%,0.75%,0.075%and1.5%of the mass of D4.Aseries of amino-terminated polysiloxane and amino-terminated side chain polysiloxanewith different viscosity and ammonia value were synthesized according to the best processconditions. Their hair hydrophobic properties were studied and compared with side chainamino silicone oil and dimethyl silicone oil. The studies found that amino silicone oil spreadon the hair fiber surface more easily than dimethyl silicone oil, ammonia value and viscosityalso affected the performance of their hydrophobic abilities.The performance evaluation and comparison of shampoos which were added withamino-terminated and amino-terminated side chain polysiloxane, side chain amino silicone oil,commodity amino-terminated polysiloxane and dimethyl silicone oil were studied comparedwith the merchant shampoos. Experiments show that: the shampoos added amino silicone canobviously improve the combing ability and the smoothness of hair. We also found that somehomemade shampoos were superior to commercial shampoos. So the self-made products havegood market prospects.Due to amino silicone oil could defoam and reduce shampoo viscosity, we should chooseproper amino silicone oil to make shampoo present the best comprehensive properties. Througmulti index evaluation, we found shampoos added amino-terminated side chain polysiloxanepolysiloxane perform best. |
